Dr. Max is involved in the diagnosis and management of infertility, endometriosis, adenomyosis, polycystic ovarian disorder (PCO), ovulation induction, insemination, the use of advanced reproductive surgical techniques and in vitro fertilization.
Dr. Max grew up in Royal Oak, MI. He graduated from:

Dr Max joined Dr. Behrman, Dr. John Musich and Dr. Brinton in the practice of reproductive endocrinology & surgery, infertility treatment, and the in vitro fertilization program at Wm. Beaumont Hospital, 1988. Member of the full time teaching faculty of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wm Beaumont Hospital since 1986.
Clinical Professor in OB/GYN at University of Michigan since 1989 to present, and Wayne State University School of Medicine from 1990 – 1996. Past Director of Staff Outpatient Hysteroscopy Clinic and OB/GYN Outpatient Clinic Past member of the Gynecologic Operating Room, Reproductive Surgery and Gynecology Quality Care committees.
Dr. Maximovich was appointed Director of Gynecologic Endoscopy at Wm. Beaumont Hospital from 1988 to 2002. During this time, he introduced Yag & KTP laser hysteroscopic uterine ablation, Circon Monopolar rollerball & wire-loop hysteroscopic uterine surgeries, ThermaChoice Uterine Balloon Ablation. Along with Dr. David Brinton, Dr Max was responsible for the initiation, development and subsequent credentialing of resident & attending doctors in laparoscopic laser surgery and other advanced laparoscopic procedures. Dr. Max has continued to be a member of the Wm Beaumont in vitro fertilization team since 1986 (to its closure) and a major contributor to the continued excellent record of clinical success.
Dr. Max has published research in both journal and abstract form on various topics including: Diagnosis of endometriosis with MRI, the effect of cigarette smoking on IVF, treating minimal endometriosis, value of estrogen in IVF, ultrasound evaluation of the endometrium, persistent ovarian cyst management and predicting the capacity of human sperm for use in IVF.
Dr. Max has done original research in the prevention of ovarian cyst adhesion formation and treatment of ovarian cysts, also FDA approval of portable vaginal ultrasound and portable CO2 laser for laparoscopy.
Dr. Max has served as a reviewer of articles for the journals FERTILITY and STERILITY (Journal of The American Fertility Society) and INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL of OBSTETRICS & GYNECOLOGY.
Dr. Max has been asked to conduct multiple presentations, demonstrate surgical techniques, and be director of varied topic conferences in six different states, Belgium and Australia. He has had over 240 live guest appearances on TV and radio:

David A Brinton, MD, carries a lifetime certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1983.
A native of Salt Lake City, Utah, and a graduate of the University of Utah School of Medicine in 1976, Dr. Brinton completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wm. Beaumont Hospital in 1980. He subsequently completed an ABOG approved fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility in 1982 at Wm. Beaumont Hospital under the tutelage of renowned infertility pioneer, S. J. Behrman, MD. He promptly joined Dr. Behrman in the private practice of reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Shortly after launching the in vitro fertilization program at Wm. Beaumont Hospital, he joined the full time teaching faculty of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1984. During his tenure at Beaumont Hospital, he has been responsible for the initiation, development and subsequent credentialing of the laparoscopic laser and other advanced laparoscopic procedures programs. He has continued to work in the in vitro fertilization program since its inception and has been a major contributor to its excellent record of clinical success.
Dr. Brinton has published original research in both journal and abstract form on topics including pathophysiology, laboratory identification and clinical presentation of endometriosis, in vitro fertilization, ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, and various forms of pituitary and ovarian hormonal dysfunction. He has been an invited speaker for formal presentations on all the above topics in addition to infertility and multiple advanced laparoscopic procedures. He has served for many years as a reviewer for Fertility and Sterility.
Dr. Brinton is an active member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a Charter Member of the Society of Reproductive Surgeons and a member of the Michigan State Medial Society as well as the Oakland County Medical Society. He has served as a clinical instructor for Wayne State University, University of Michigan, and Oakland University.
His clinical practice includes the diagnosis and management of all forms of infertility including ovulation induction, insemination, advanced laparoscopic techniques in the diagnosis and management of tubal infertility and endometriosis (including robotic methods) as well as in vitro fertilization. He has special expertise in the diagnosis and management of developmental abnormalities of the reproductive tract as well as complex hysteroscopic surgery.
He is has been on the staff of Wm. Beaumont Hospitals in Royal Oak and Troy, Michigan for the past 24 years.
